The Republican Law Society (RLS) seeks to increase political awareness and activism in the law school community. We provide a forum within the law school for the discussion and promotion of Republican politics. We foster political education by encouraging political discussion and debate at events that we host throughout the year. We bring local and national level GOP leaders and politicians to the law school for roundtable discussions, question and answer sessions, and lectures, and we seek to co-sponsor these events with other policy-related law societies in order to promote participation and attendance. RLS meets several times a year, encourages political debate with other political organizations on campus, and participates in community activities, including volunteering during campaign events. We are particularly active near election time and provide many opportunities to help elect and re-elect Republicans.
