The Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) is one of the law school's largest student organizations. JLSA is a nondenominational organization, which strives to provide support and a sense of community for Jewish students. The Maryland chapter hosts a variety of activities including providing assistance for holiday observance, sponsoring speakers and programs of special interest, and coordinating social events. We also introduce students to Jewish lawyers and integrate them with the Jewish community as a whole. JLSA is part of a national organization, which has numerous chapters throughout the United States and Canada. On a national level, JLSA hosts an annual conference, sponsors speakers and provides exchange programs in Israel.
