PALS is an advocacy, networking, and support group for students who care for dependents. We strive to provide a casual forum for parent support, sponsor family-friendly events, help students find resources they need while attending law school, and answer questions they have that are unique to students caring for family. Activities may include:
- Family Game Night
- Networking Lunch
- Trip to Port Discovery, Science Museum, or Art Museum
- Toy Exchange
Other needs we strive to address:
- On-site childcare for UMB-related events
- "It Takes a Village" co-operative study groups
Need a lactation room?
The law school has two lactation rooms which are only available to law students. Reach out to Amanda Barnes amanda.barnes@law.umaryland.edu in the Student Affairs Office (S. 280) for access.
