The University of Maryland chapter of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) was established in 1968 to advance the needs of Black law students and generate change in the legal community. Our chapter is active in furthering these goals by providing a support system for Black law students, fostering relationships between Black law students and the bar, and giving back to the local community.
