The Leadership, Ethics and Professionalism initiative at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law offers students unique opportunities to participate in co-curricular educational events designed to develop leadership skills and to foster an understanding of ethical and professional conduct in the context of legal practice. The initiative will tap an extensive well of resources and expertise available both in the Maryland Carey Law alumni community and in the legal community in the broader Baltimore-Washington region as its pool of presenters. It will feature a speaker series, workshops, training sessions, boot camps, and field-trips among other activities which will have as their principle aim the goal of producing lawyers who will be effective leaders and who are equipped to navigate professional and ethical challenges throughout their careers.
