Salman A. Siddiqi is an associate attorney at Thomsen and Burke LLP. He has experience advising clients on a wide range of U.S. regulatory issues related to international trade and investment. He is versed in the regulations governing the export of controlled goods and services, economic sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). He also works with EU regulations related to imports, export controls, and financial sanctions. He has worked with clients operating in several industries, including the Internet of Things (IoT), computer hardware and software, semiconductor manufacturing, and wireless telecommunications.

A 2022 graduate of Maryland Carey Law, he specialized in International Law and Information Technology Law and was president of the International Moot Court Team. Competing in the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, he ranked as a Top 50 Oralist in the United States.

With a BA in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, he has two published papers in STUDIUM, The Journal of Students in History at the University of Galati.

He has professional working proficiency in Arabic and Urdu and is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
