Micah J. Yarbrough brings to Maryland Carey Law a diverse legal career, including legal education and administration, legislative practice, as well as private practice. Immediately prior to joining the law school, he worked extensively in the area of bar exam preparation. From 2000 to 2013, he directed both the Widener Bar Programs Office and the Widener Delaware Bar Review Course, the only comprehensive commercial bar review course in the state at that time. He also served as interim director of bar preparations and legal education consultant at the University of Massachusetts School of Law - Dartmouth from 2013 to 2014. In addition, he has served as associate professor for legal research, analysis & writing at Widener School of Law - Delaware from 1999 to 2013.
He is executive director of FOR J.A.N.E., Inc., an educational non-profit committed to supporting high school and college students in obtaining advanced education. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Although a Virginia native, he lived for many years in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. He performs regularly in the GMCW men’s chorus of Washington.
