Master the Art of Persuasion
Advocacy is a critical skill to have in the courtroom and beyond. Lawyers, government and nonprofit leaders, CEOs, and judges all benefit from advocacy training. Effective writing, persuasive and confident presentation, and the ability to anticipate an opponent’s argument are valuable skills to have, regardless of your career path. At Maryland Carey Law, you will learn the fundamentals of advocacy through our extensive curriculum.
When you’re ready to put theory into practice, our competitive teams and clinical experiences provide opportunities for you to apply your skills in both hypothetical and real-world scenarios. You’ll work closely with faculty advisors, alumni coaches, and volunteer judges who will serve as mentors and lifelong career resources.
