Maryland Carey Law is conveniently located in downtown Baltimore, providing students with access to a variety of housing and transportation options. You can find a number of housing options below. Many students also find roommates through the Admitted Students Facebook Group or the UMB Housing Classifieds. The University of Maryland Baltimore offers graduate student housing in two apartment buildings near campus, Fayette Square and Pascault Row. Pascault Row features studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments while Fayette Square offers studio apartments through seven bedroom townhouses and is directly across the street from the law school. These options are only available to students who are graduate students at the University of Maryland Baltimore.
Non-UMB Housing
In addition to the options offered by the university, there are several other independently-operated apartment buildings located very close to campus. Some options include:

Baltimore Neighborhoods
Students also frequently live in townhomes and rowhomes in different neighborhoods in Baltimore, including Federal Hill, Mt. Vernon, Canton, Fells Point, and more. In addition to parking on campus or taking public transportation, there is a UMB shuttle available to students as well as a SafeRide/SafeWalk program. UM Shuttle
If you are considering options outside of downtown, we recommend checking the UM Shuttle routes so you can take advantage of this free and convenient public transportation option. Visit Live Baltimore to learn more about the surrounding neighborhoods.
Parking & Transportation

Safe Ride Program
At the law school studying late? For students who live off campus, the Safe Ride Program provides transportation until 1:00 am up to three blocks off campus.
