Robert Koulish has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is Director of Undergraduate Studies at University of Maryland, College Park Department of Government and Politics, where he is also Associate Professor (Visiting) and Senior Research Fellow at the Center of American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC).
Dr. Koulish teaches courses in Law and Society, Immigration Law and Politics, and American Political Thought. He is author of Immigration and American Democracy: Subverting the Rule of Law (Routledge, 2010), and numerous peer review and law review articles and book chapters on immigration control, asylum and citizenship. He is currently co-editing a book on Crimmigration law, to be published by Springer Press, and is writing a book on political ideology to be published by Pearson Press.
