Chris Flohr is a partner in the firm of Blackford & Flohr, LLC located in Anne Arundel County. Chris limits his practice to Criminal Defense and School Discipline while his firm also represents those involved in Home Improvement, Mechanics' Liens & Construction Disputes; Contracts and Business Litigation; Divorce, Custody and Adoption; Wills & Trusts; and Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation. Chris has been practicing for over twenty years and began his legal career as a Staff Attorney at The Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York. He handled a variety of criminal cases and was selected as a Team Leader. Since he moved to Maryland, Chris worked with Prof. Douglas Colbert as the Legal Director of The Lawyers at Bail Project. Chris is a former President of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and a graduate of The Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. He has been recognized as a “Superlawyer” and one of the “Leading Lawyers in Anne Arundel County.” When he is not practicing law, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing guitar and drums, practicing martial arts, and boating. He enjoys the opportunity to help his students succeed in the "real world," inspire them when he can, and to learn from them.
