W. Bruce Del Valle is a business law and civil litigator in Washington, D.C. with extensive international experience relating to clients, matters, and interests in a variety of African, European, and Middle Eastern nations. He often publishes legal and opinion articles and makes television and documentary film appearances relating to constitutional, human rights, environmental, energy, technology, and international law and trade issues. Prior to law school, Professor Del Valle worked as a nuclear power quality control engineer.

He is a cum laude graduate from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, from which he received numerous book awards and national trial and negotiations competitions honors. Upon graduation, he served a two-year clerkship for the Hon. Norman C. Roettger, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
