Shari Christie is associate director of registration and enrollment in the Office of Student Services. She is primarily responsible for managing Maryland Carey Law’s faculty curriculum course database and student information system for academic records. She serves as the law school’s primary Veterans Administration (VA) certifying official and the primary point of contact for dual enrollment students. She also assists in developing registration system enhancements and record maintenance to ensure that students have seamless and efficient experiences. In addition, she provides advice to students regarding academic regulations, course requirements, graduation requirements, certificate requirements, and time management requirements for graduation.
Prior to joining Maryland Carey Law, she served as the university registrar at Bowie State University where she worked to improve policies and procedures for the office, implemented new software to enhance the process with curriculum requests, and collaborated with faculty, staff, and other constituents on various projects.
She holds a Master of Science in Administration in Nonprofit Management from Trinity Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Iona University (formerly Iona College).
