Rob Niccolini is a Shareholder in the Washington, D.C. office of Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment specialty firms in the country. A Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, he was co-chair of Ogletree’s Healthcare Industry Group for almost a decade, and is the only labor and employment lawyer to have ever served as President of the American Health Law Association. He represents management in employment litigation and counseling, with particular emphasis in the healthcare, technology and government contractor industries, and his practice includes all facets of employment discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, ADA, FMLA, covenants not to compete, employment torts, and class and collective actions. Rob has represented employers in state and federal court throughout the country, including Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and the U.S. Department of Labor. He has tried over twenty cases to verdict before juries in state and federal court, and has also tried well over one hundred bench trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings. A proud graduate of Vanderbilt University (both undergraduate and law school), he is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the Supreme Court, as well as various U.S. Courts of Appeals and District Courts.
