As Deputy Director of Development, Andrew Altshuler coordinates alumni activities in order to develop relationships for Maryland Carey Law and all of its constituents. He works with philanthropic leaders to create connections with alumni, students, faculty, and staff in order to enable Maryland Carey Law be a leader within the legal and business community. He is responsible for local and regional programming, reunion programming, providing support to the Alumni Board, the production of the alumni e-newsletter, and support for student organizations.

Andrew began his development career as a student caller at Towson University, his alma mater. Soon after graduation, Andrew became manager of Towson’s call center and then transitioned to the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) to manage their call center. Prior to joining Maryland Carey Law, he was in charge of building an alumni network, growing an alumni donor base, and managing the communication efforts at UMD’s College of Education. Originally from New York, Andrew has been in Maryland ever since he was at Towson and is proud to call Maryland home.
