Bio

Charles (Charlie) Hackett is a member of the 2026 class at the University of Maryland King Carey School of Law.

Raised in Carroll County, Maryland, Charlie graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.A. in History and a Minor in Law and Society.

Currently, Charlie is pursuing the business law track with general interests based on his undergraduate research on law and economics. This summer, he will serve as a judicial intern at the Circuit Court for Baltimore County and the Circuit Court for Carroll County under the Honorable Sherrie R. Bailey and the Honorable Maria L. Oesterreicher, respectively.
