Bio

Gregory Schwab is a Visiting Professor of Law and Donald Gaines Murray Fellow.  He teaches in the first-year Lawyering Program. His research interests include state constitutional law, especially executive power, and administrative law.

Prior to joining Maryland Carey Law, Professor Schwab taught state constitutional law as an adjunct law professor at Drexel University Kline School of Law.  Before teaching, he served as General Counsel of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where advised the Governor, executive staff, and cabinet on all legal issues facing the state. Professor Schwab also served other attorney roles in state government, and prior to that he practiced law in the litigation department of a large law firm in Philadelphia.

Professor Schwab is a proud alumnus of Maryland Carey Law, where he graduated with honors. He received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC.
