Zuha Hameed
Bio
Zuha graduated summa cum laude from the George Washington University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She completed her degree in just three years and received minors in Law and Society, as well as Journalism and Mass Communications. Her academic achievements earned her recognition on the Dean’s List and membership in the prestigious Alpha Phi Sigma honor society.
She actively participated in extracurricular activities, such as writing for the GW Undergraduate Law Review. Her article was published in the Library of Congress. Zuha also served as the Secretary of Academic Pathways for the GW Student Association Executive Cabinet and contributed articles to reputable publications such as Planet Forward and the GW Hatchet.
Zuha is a 2026 class member at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. Her concentration is in Business, reflecting her interest in corporate law and commercial transactions. Zuha has been recognized as a Diversity and Inclusion Scholar, and has also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in Torts.
Zuha gained valuable professional experience through various roles. As a Legal Assistant at McGuireWoods LLP in Tysons, Virginia, she provided support to the Public Finance department, where she drafted legal documents, managed filings, and assisted with document review under the supervision of a partner. Prior to this, she served as a Legal Intern at Five Guys Properties LLC, where she worked closely with the legal team on real estate transactions.
Zuha is an active member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, and Bar Association of Baltimore City.
