Natalie D. Lake
Bio
Natalie Lake is a member of the 2025 class at Maryland Carey Law and is involved with the International Law Society, Women’s Bar Association, and the Business Law Society.
Natalie graduated from Baylor University in 2016 with a BBA in International Business and Marketing with a German Language Studies minor and in 2021, earned a Master of Business Administration with a graduate certificate in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland, Global.
Prior to coming to law school, she was a geospatial analyst where she conducted in-depth research and authored reports for the Department of Defense on climate-change-related food insecurity, identified drug smuggling routes through satellite imagery, and utilized satellite imagery to support machine learning algorithm development. She then moved to England where she spent five years leading an office that supported an active student body of over 1,000 Air Force students pursuing higher education.
Her legal areas of interest lie in international corporate transactions, arbitration, and trusts and estates. She is a legal intern at Johns Hopkins University in the Lieber Institute for Brain Development Office of General Counsel throughout the summer of 2023. She will also be interning with Magistrate Judge Tipton in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City in Spring 2024 and has accepted a Summer Associate position at Hogan Lovells next in Summer 2024.
