Bio

Karishma is a second-year law student from New Jersey and her family hails from the Baltimore area. She has a Bachelors from Georgetown University in Healthcare Management and Policy. Prior to law school, she stayed in Washington D.C. and worked in healthcare consulting.  

Karishma is passionate about how the intersectionality of business, politics, health care, and legal policy holistically strengthen entities and  individuals.  She is excited for all the opportunities the track gives to engage with Business Law and is grateful for all that she has learned thus far.  

Karishma is also an active member of the Maryland Carey Law community. She serves as the Vice President for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and hopes to encourage support for the Asian community both at the school and in the legal field.
