Bio

Jillian Patterson was born and (mostly) raised in northern Delaware and attended high school and college in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she graduated with an Honors BA in English from the University of Utah Honors College. She returned to the east coast for graduate school, earning an MA in English and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies from the University of Delaware. Prior to beginning law school at the University of Maryland, she taught undergraduate writing at the University of Delaware and Cecil College. She has also served as Chief of Staff for Delegate Robin Grammer in the Maryland General Assembly for five years. She spent her 1L summer back in her home state as a Summer Associate with Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP in Wilmington, Delaware.
