Bio

Luis Hidalgo grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and graduated from the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, VA in 2019 where he received a degree in Accounting.  Prior to entering law school, he worked for an accounting firm, where he ensured government contractors were in compliance with government regulations.  Luis has continued his work at the accounting firm ensuring he is gaining more knowledge in government compliance, an area of interest for him.  Luis' focus in the business law program has been on issues of tax, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and government compliance. Luis sat for the first part of the CPA exam during his 1L summer. Luis is a member of the school's Business Law Society, Latino Law Student Association and a service member for his fraternity.
