My name is Caroline Salim. I am a member of the Class of 2024 at University of Maryland Carey Law. I grew up in Ellicott city, Maryland and attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT for my undergraduate degree. At Wesleyan I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. In between graduating and attending law school I worked as a volunteer in the Veteran Department at the Homeless Persons Representation Project located in Baltimore city. I serve as the secretary for the law school's chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and am interested in continuing my studies in Business Law. During my 1L summer I worked with at Goldstein & Stamm, working close with Lenny Stamm and his criminal defense team. I also worked with the Maryland Pro Bono Resource Center, assisting their attorneys that provide legal aid to settle rent disputes between landlords and tenants.
