Grace Cherouny
Bio
Grace Cherouny is from Washington, D.C. and graduated from the University of Vermont in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to entering law school, she worked for Vermont Legal Aid in Burlington, Vermont as a Medical-Legal Partnership Project Coordinator. At Vermont Legal Aid, she assisted project attorneys in delivering positive outcomes in a wide range of legal issues for over 150 clients. She also worked closely with the Vermont Attorney General's Office to facilitate expungement clinics. In college, she interned for the Office of the Federal Public Defender and Student Legal Services at the University of Vermont.
In her first year of law school, Grace became interested in pursuing the Business Law Track after taking foundational courses such as Contracts and Foundations in Business Law. She plans on building upon this foundation further through more advanced coursework and professional opportunities.
During her 1L summer, Grace interned with JRC Integrated Systems, Inc. in Washington, D.C. as a Contracts Specialist Intern where she assisted with regulatory compliance, budgeting, and legislative research.
