James Accousti
Bio
James Accousti, class of 2024, is a J.D. Candidate on the Business Law certificate track. Originally from Newtown, Connecticut, James moved to Baltimore in 2016, where he attended Loyola University Maryland, majoring in Political Science and double-minoring in Business and English. During his undergraduate, James held unique internships in environmental engineering and property management. Just prior to enrolling at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, James shadowed a former Connecticut Claims Commissioner, where he developed a passion for lawyers' work. Currently, James is a member of the executive board for the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society and on the Alternative Dispute Resolution team. James has developed a passion for business and property law, wishing to continue exploring these sectors of the legal field.
