Bio

Alex Ramos, class of 2023, is a student on the Business Law certificate track. His legal fields of interests include corporate compliance and federal securities. During his 1L summer he served as an intern in the Office of the General Counsel for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board; a regulatory body closely tied to the Securities and Exchange Commission. While there he aided the General Counsel with policymaking, due diligence, and international securities law research. 

Before attending Maryland Carey Law, he graduated cum laude from Washington College. While there, he received from the University of Hamburg for advocacy in international law. At Maryland, he currently serves as the treasurer for both the International Law Society and the Latinx Law Students Association.
