Bio

I co-own and/or operate three business entities while attending law school as member of the Class of 2023 at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. The Blackwell Lane Collective, LLC is focused on real estate investment. Brown Stone Living, LLC is a tenant placement service and JACX inc. is a patent pending, fashion hardware line.

At law school, I am a member of the business certification track with an additional focus on intellectual property, specifically trademarks and copyrights. My goal is to help businesses venture into the marketplace and expand. I also serve as the third year, evening vice-president of the Student Bar Association, member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution team, Carey Law Diversity Scholar, and member-at-large of the Black Law Student Association.

Before Law School, I was a middle and high school English teacher in Baltimore City, Maryland and Hartford Connecticut before becoming a school director and teacher coach. In my last position, I served as Senior Director of Operations at Urban Teachers, a non-profit organization focused on preparing effective teachers for Baltimore City Public Schools.
