Bio

Toby is from the upstate New York city of Elmira and has wanted to be an attorney since he was 13 years old. Prior to law school, his work experience includes two summers with a bank, and two summers with Corning Incorporated. These experiences gave Toby an interest in the areas of corporate taxation, private sector collaboration with the government, and international transactions.

Upon starting law school, Toby quickly realized that his interests and prior work experience align with the Business Law Program. During his first summer as a law student, he worked as the Business Law Program Fellow. This role included conducting research on caselaw and treatises pertaining to Securities Law and the FCPA, as well as performing administrative duties for the program.
