Sabrina Tolbert
Bio
I am a highly motivated and passionate member of the Class of 2023 with experience at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, the General Counsel's Office at Children's National Hospital, and as a research assistant for Professor Michael Van Alstine. I am familiar with group collaboration and problem-solving due to extensive involvement in politics and the Alternative Methods of Dispute Resolution Team at Maryland Law. I possess a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies and a minor in French. I am also fluent in French. At Maryland Law, I have leadership roles within several student organizations, showing my commitment to the school and my larger community. I serve as Treasurer of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and as Co-Vice President of the Business Law Society. My student colleagues have elevated me to these roles because I am a team player with strong leadership capabilities. My time with these organizations has allowed me to form a passion for community involvement, arbitration, and business law, that I hope to carry into my work as a future attorney.
