Nathan Buckman
Bio
Nathan is a third-year law student and is passionate about enhancing communities through business development, legal services, health support and advancement, and holistic well-being.
Fascinated by the nexus between the law and the community at large, Nathan is an engaged member of the Maryland Carey Law community. He is honored to serve in the Student Bar Association as class president for his class year. Nathan is on the Bankruptcy Moot Court Board and has gained valuable experience not only through the Bankruptcy Team but also through his internship in Spring 2021 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland.
Also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing at Towson University, Nathan works both legal and academic spheres to understand how the law affects people’s lived experience. Words have enormous power, and Nathan unites his interest in the law with his graduate studies in writing. Together, these programs help inform Nathan’s passion for writing, the law, and helping people.
Nathan is a native of Baltimore County, MD, and he has enjoyed learning in the Business Law program. Before law school, Nathan was a baker and cake decorator for almost seven years. Nathan looks forward to graduating not only from Maryland Carey Law but also from the Business Law program.
