At the start of the spring 2019 semester, Professor Michael Pappas established the “Online Workshop for Environmental Scholarship.” This workshop series convenes environmental law scholars from across the country and around the world to share and discuss their emerging projects. At each workshop a featured scholar presents a work-in-progress, and attendees offer questions, comments, and points of discussion. Professor Pappas hosts and moderates the workshops via an internet meeting platform, and topics have ranged from agriculture to administrative law and from environmental history to environmental justice. The initial run of workshops will continue throughout the spring semester, and with the success of the program and demand for participation, Professor Pappas will continue it in the fall and beyond.
