The Environmental Law Program is excited to launch its Environmental Law Diversity Program. This Program will support diverse students pursuing careers in environmental law, a practice area in need of more diversity. The Program offers scholarships for diverse students interested in environmental law and summer grants to pursue environmental public interest work. This support will, in turn, help students develop an interest in and a resume for a career in environmental law. The Environmental Law Program is thankful for the generosity of the Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) a nonpartisan, nonprofit watchdog organization that advocates for effective enforcement of environmental laws. EIP is comprised of former EPA enforcement attorneys, public interest lawyers, analysts, investigators, and community organizers, all fighting the good fight to help protect our environment. EIP’s generosity made this Diversity Program possible. In addition, special thanks to the wonderful, diverse law school community of professors and professionals who have and will support this effort, and without whom we would not be able to offer these exciting student opportunities.
