Where to Stay

If you're planning a visit to Maryland Carey Law, we recommend considering one of the hotels below. Though it is nice to be in close proximity to the school, we encourage prospective students and their families to stay in one of the more residential neighborhoods where students typically live. Federal Hill, Harbor East, Fells Point, and Mount Vernon are all just 5-10 minutes away and all offer a more dynamic view of what life in Baltimore is really like.

Federal Hill is an historic neighborhood that is located just south of campus between the Inner Harbor and M&T Bank Stadium where the Ravens play. It features charming rowhouses and modern apartment buildings surrounding a quaint commercial district with some of the city's best restaurants and nightlife. In the heart of Federal Hill you'll find the recently renovated Cross Street Market, a bustling food hall with a variety of fresh and prepared food vendors. For some of the best views of the city, walk up to the top of Federal Hill Park.
