Alumni Weekend 2025 will be held Thursday, April 24 - Saturday, April 26. Please make sure your contact information is updated so you are able to receive updated Alumni Weekend communications.

During Alumni Weekend 2025, we will also celebrate milestone reunions for class years ending in 0s and 5s. To make your reunion celebration the best it can be, we need your help to spread the word and to get your classmates excited. Join your class's reunion committee by completing this form.

ADR Team Celebration

4:30 - 6:00 p.m. | Maryland Carey Law

Join the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Team as we toast Barry Gogel '97 as this year's Star Award recipient in a private reception prior to the Alumni Honors Banquet (tickets sold separately). Help us thank Barry for his many contributions to the law school (official toast will take place around 5:00 pm)!

Alumni Honors Banquet: A Celebration of Leadership

6:00 - 8:30 p.m. | Westminster Hall

Every year, Maryland Carey Law recognizes alumni for their leadership, achievements, and impact on Maryland Carey Law and the legal profession. Celebrate our 2025 award recipients at the annual Alumni Honors Banquet. Your ticket includes admission to the event, a seated dinner and open bar, and networking with fellow Maryland Carey Law alumni, faculty and staff.

Ticket Price: $80 per ticket

Golden Graduates Luncheon: Inducting the Class of 1975

Maryland Carey Law continues its tradition of celebrating our most experienced alumni – our Golden Graduates – during a special luncheon during Alumni Weekend. Alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago are among this distinguished group.

Enjoy opportunities to reconnect throughout Alumni Weekend as we welcome all class years preceding 1975 to join us in recognizing the Class of 1975 for their Golden Reunion Celebration. This event is only open to alumni who graduated 1975 or earlier.

National Trial Team Meet-and-Greet Hosted by the Trial Advocacy Leadership Council

3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Maryland Carey Law

Join the Trial Advocacy Leadership Council for a meet-and-greet to discuss the future of the National Trial Team! Please join the Council and Salsbury Director Ben Garmoe '16 for a discussion on the future of the Trial Team. This will be a chance to connect with fellow Trial Team alumni, contribute to a conversation about upcoming events and how to build more alumni involvement, and discuss how to grow the Trial Team’s footprint in the advocacy community. Light appetizers and drinks will be served.

Women, Leadership & Equality Program Annual Reception

The Women, Leadership & Equality Program (WLE) invites 21 years of Rose Zetzer Fellows, the Women's Leadership Circle and friends of the Program to join us for this opportunity to reconnect, for fellowship and to celebrate women in the law. Attendees will also get a preview of the new WLE video, “Leading in a Crisis: Lessons Learned from the Coronavirus Pandemic,” a fireside chat with Mary Ellen Barbera, Chief Judge (ret.), Maryland Court of Appeals.

Professor Larry S. Gibson and Professor Michael Millemann Retirement Celebration

Alumni and Family Picnic

Celebrate Alumni Weekend with your family and friends during our Alumni and Family Picnic. Guests will enjoy complimentary barbeque inspired food, beer, wine and soft drinks. Cornhole, face painting, balloon animals, lawn games, and other kids activities will be available to enjoy.

Reunion Celebration: Cocktail & Networking Reception and Reunion Class Dinners

Enjoy reconnecting with fellow alumni during our Saturday evening networking reception, followed by dinner with your classmates to celebrate your milestone reunion. The Cocktail & Networking Reception includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. All alumni are invited to the Cocktail & Networking reception.

The evening culminates with celebrating those alumni who have reached a milestone reunion since graduating from law school! This year, we are celebrating milestone reunions for the classes of 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. The Reunion Class Dinner includes a seated dinner, dessert, open bar, and a special alumni weekend gift.

  • $125 through March 31, 2025
  • $150 through April 11th, 2025

Alumni who are not celebrating a milestone reunion this year are invited to join us for the Cocktail & Networking Reception. Tickets for the Cocktail & Networking Reception ONLY are $35 per person.
