Role of State and Federal Defense and Prosecution
Course Description
This course examines the role of state and federal public defenders and prosecutors. Set within the context of an experiential learning model, class segments will focus the differing roles various legal actors play in the criminal justice system. In addition, experiential role-play exercises will include feedback from Maryland Judges, defense attorneys and prosecutors.
Students are suggested, but not required, to have taken criminal procedure and evidence.
