Antitrust Law

Course Description

This course covers federal antitrust law. While there will be some discussion of antitrust and economic theory, the course will focus on U.S. antitrust litigation, particularly cases involving public enforcement, private enforcement, and antitrust class actions. The course will cover collusion, monopolization, and mergers. The course will also attempt to discuss the fundamental principles of antitrust law and litigation through some of the major cases currently being litigated by public and private enforcers. A background in economics is neither required nor preferred.
