Paul Cordish Memorial Writing Competition

For UM Carey Law Students Only
Supported by the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) and the Paul Cordish Memorial Fund, this competition is intended to spur legal research in the field of insurance adjusting by awarding three different prize categories and values (first place, second place, and third place) to three UM law student entrants who write the best papers on an issue related to insurance law: ethical issues and/or legal issues related to the public adjusting profession.  Additional information and prior papersare available on the NAPIA site.

ABA Scholarships, Essays, & Writing Competitions

The Legal Writing Center's bulletin boards (located outside of room 400) contain the most up-to-date information regarding all current legal writing competitions advertised through the law school. These writing competition opportunities are posted on the bulletin boards as soon as we receive notice of them, so please check back frequently; new competitions arrive weekly.
