Maryland Carey Law offers hands-on opportunities to learn and practice alternative dispute resolution (ADR) unmatched by any law school. You will have rich opportunities in clinics and externships because the Maryland Judiciary and federal government are leaders across the world in the use of ADR. You can hone your negotiation and mediation skills on our award-winning ADR Team, or get involved with innovative community initiatives and research in our nationally-recognized Center for Dispute Resolution.

Through concentrated study on the Dispute Resolution Track or a mix of elective courses, you will become a skillful negotiator, problem solver, and leader in any work setting. Our rich curriculum allows you to select courses tailored to your interests and career goals. You will be ready to take on complex challenges and achieve results for your clients.
